I started taking photographs many years ago, when I was an undergraduate at Athens University, using a simple camera with black and white film. In addition, I learned to develop the film and print my photographs. Color photography came soon thereafter with a better camera and lenses. The adventure with film photography continued through 2006 and a trip to the island of Santorini, Greece. By that time, I had accumulated a large collection of black and white and color film negatives and slides, which were digitized for future use.
My transition to digital photography was and continues to be a rewarding experience. Learning more about the capabilities of my cameras and lenses, gaining insights into composition and learning how to use the amazing photography software available today.
Most of the photographs on my website were taken in the last five years. However, several are older photographs that were digitized from film. While the latter may lack the resolution of the digital images, they are rich in color and content.
I hope you enjoy my collections. I invite you to contact me to share your impressions and answer your questions.
